Meaning of the baby name IDUN.
Scandinavian. A form of Old Norse Iðunn
(q.v.), literally meaning "she who loves work," from idja
(work) an unna (love); allegorically rendered "fairy" or
"spirit." See Idonea.

(q.v.), and is known as the care-healing maid who understands
