OTOKAR.  Bohemian.  Also spelled Otakar.  Another name for Odoacer (Audvakr, "treasure watcher"), but, according to Yonge, equal to Germanic Ortgar (q.v.), Anglo-Saxon Eadgar (q.v.), meaning "rich spear," from Teutonic od (O.N. audr, A.S. ead, wealth), and gar (spear).  See Yonge's note under Ottokar.  Usage: Croatia, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia.
    Otokar Fischer (d. 1938), was a Czech playwright and translator.  Otokar Keršovani (d. 1941), was a Croatian and Yugoslavian left-wing politician, and a journalist. (Wiki)
